Our youth ministry, Southside, will be embarking on a trip to Glen Spey, NY to take part in a Fall Retreat weekend at Lake Champion with Young Life!

Time away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, gathered together with like-minded youth, hungering for a closer relationship with God, without all of the unwarranted pressures and criticisms of their misled peers…can be life-changing! There is nothing quite like seeing hundreds of young people, singing their hearts out while praising Jesus, and similarly nothing like seeing your friends doing the same!

Our youth is literally the future of the church, and as Proverbs 22:6 tells us, “Direct your children onto the right path, and when they are older, they will not leave it.” (NLT)

So, let’s pray for a blessed and safe weekend, full of love, laughter, prayer and praise! We hope that our beloved Southside teens have a great time, and grow together!
