“Monique Beadle is the Director of US Policy & Diplomacy
at Jerusalem Institute of Justice, an Israeli human rights NGO based in Jerusalem.
As a human rights attorney, she has advised peace negotiators in Sri Lanka and the Philippines,
contributed to investigations of human trafficking in Thailand and Myanmar,
pursued justice for victims of war crimes in the Democratic Republic of Congo,
directed a humanitarian relief fund in Ukraine and Poland, and won asylum for refugee women
fleeing sexual violence in Uganda, Nigeria, Albania, China, Cameroon, Togo, and Egypt.
She nows serves as an advocate for Israeli civilians within the UN system and on Capitol Hill.
Monique is the grandchild of Holocaust survivors from Germany,
a graduate of American University Washington College of Law, and a member of the DC Bar.”
