“The Wisdom of Okefenokee Swamp” (Sunday Sermon)
February 1 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
Welcome and thank you for doing us in Worship! We are so happy that you are here today!
In this Sunday’s sermon, Pastor Adam explains that in Walt Kelly’s comic strip, Pogo Possum and Albert Alligator live in the Okefenokee Swamp. The strip was written for both children and adults, with layers of social and political satire. Kernels of great wisdom can come from fictitious characters and stories. Jesus sometimes used this method called parables.
