Southern Valley Field Day @ Valley Brook

On 8/16, our youth group, Southside, will be joining youth groups from Valley Brook Community Church (Granby CT), Valley Community Baptist Church (Avon CT), & Westfield Evangelical Free Church (Westfield, MA) for a day full of activities, fellowship and fun @ at the 2nd Annual Southern Valley Field Day, taking place at the Valley Brook Community Church campus!
Schedule:
· 2pm – 2:30pm arrival/check-in/games for VBCC, VCBC, SCC
· 2:30 – 3:30 Capture the Flag (VBCC & SCC vs VCBC)
· 3:30 – 5:30 Free-time games. (WEFC arrives at 4pm)
· 5:30 – 6:30 Dinner and free-time games
· 6:30 – 7:00 Worship/Devotions/Prayer (head count by church)
· 7:00 – 8:00 S’mores, fire pits, ice-cream free-time games
· 7:00 – 8:00 S’mores, fire pits, ice-cream free-time games
Capture the Flag – will be contained in the large fenced in field. (2:30-3:30pm)
Free-time games (these will be setup all day and can be used during Free-time on schedule):
· Gaga – parking lot end of large field
· Can Jam – parking lot end of large field
· Volleyball – parking lot end of large field
· Spike ball – parking lot end of large field and in shaded grove
· Corn Hole – in shaded grove
· 9 square – in shaded grove
· Basketball – by the hoop
· Disc Golf – around the fenced in large field. A leader must be in each foursome.

Food:
· Chips, cookies, water, Gatorade throughout the day
· Hot dogs, hamburgers, pizza, salad for dinner from 5:30 – 6:30pm
· S’mores and ice-cream/popsicles from 7-8pm
