Where Pets & People Find Support
Since 1998, this entirely volunteer-run organization has stood as a steadfast resource for pet owners in need. Housed right here at South Church, their pet food pantry provides cat and dog food, litter, bedding, collars, coats, and other essential supplies to families navigating difficult financial circumstances. They go even further by helping to cover the cost of emergency veterinary care and spay and neuter services for qualifying pet owners — because every pet, regardless of their owner’s financial situation, deserves a healthy and happy life.

Every Donation Keeps a Pet Home
In partnership with the Charter Oak Health Center, this organization works hand in hand to serve Hartford’s most underserved residents. The need, however, is great. The organization often struggles with demand and relies on public donations, including through an Amazon wish list, and volunteers. Your support, in any form, helps ensure that no family has to choose between their pet and their financial survival.
