Holy Scrap!

If you are new at Scrapbooking and don’t know where to start our knowledgeable scrappers can help. We can help you choose the right scrapbook and supplies and help you learn to sort your photos and memorabilia. We even have space to store your projects so you won’t have to cart them back and forth. If you are a crafter this may be your small group. We do Scrapbooking but also Paper crafting, card making, etc.

We meet at least every Tuesday but you’ll often find us here more often. Feel free to bring your own project with you and use our large tables, tools, and supplies. We have cutters, punches, stamps, etc. or, we have plenty of things for you to do. From novice to expert all are welcome! (We are mostly ladies but gentlemen are certainly welcome as well.)

Sewing Smiles

Sewing Smiles meets on the 1st Saturday of every month from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm in the Elmore Room. If you are a sewer, we can put you right to work. If you are a non-sewer we can either teach you or we have plenty of other jobs you can do. Sewing Smiles primarily supports our Haiti Mission by making dresses for girls, dolls for all children, pants for boys, skirts for ladies, drawstring bags for families and pencil cases for school supplies. Everyone is invited, come for the morning, afternoon, or all day! (Men are also welcome.)

South Church Women

SCW meets every Wednesday from 10:00am-3:00pm. We bring our own bag lunches, eat together and enjoy some fellowship time. After lunch, we work on crafts, some are brought from home, some are used in various missions the church sponsors, and some are made to sell at local craft fairs. Participating in the crafts is not required; you are welcome to just come for the fellowship. SCW is open to women from 18 to 118.

Tree of Life Mentoring Ministries

Tree of Life Mentoring Ministries is an outreach program that supports women and families facing unplanned pregnancy. We walk alongside the family from pregnancy through the first year of the child’s life. We offer compassion, grace, love, and most importantly, family support. We offer encouragement through mentoring and education, and each family will embark on a beautiful journey learning their identity in Jesus Christ, Lord and Savior.

Bible Study is another Option

Bible Studies offer a place to connect with other believers in fellowship; to grow in your understanding of the Bible, as Jesus’ own small group of disciples did; to meet the needs of others in your group or ministry; to become equipped for evangelism; and to worship God through practicing godly behavior.

Join us on Wednesdays from 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm in the Bryant Room.
